Description:
Drill jungle green coloured combat dress trousers. Pressed steel buttons covered with cotton drill material, removable buckle closure to front and button fly. First Field Dressing pocket on right front thigh. Large map pocket mid—way on right leg. Two pockets at rear and two slash pockets at side. Also known as India Pattern Trouser Drill Green.

Peter Bomford commented that the buttons would rust quickly in the jungle conditions and part company with the trousers. In one incident he was faced with decision of holding up his pants or shooting at enemy Japanese soldiers with his pants down. He chose the second option.
